Sometimes when you're cutting keys, the original key may have deeper than normal grooves/cuts.
If the grooves are too deep, the key cutting machine you're using may not be able to replicate the exact same cut.
To get around this, you can use key lifts to lift the keys up closer to the blade to ensure a deeper cut and a much more accurate copy of the original.
